For Josh, food has always been connected to place, memory, and community. From fishing with his father to discovering family-owned restaurants that left a lasting impression, those early experiences helped shape his appreciation for hospitality and continue to influence his approach in the kitchen today.
Josh began his culinary career as a prep cook and worked his way through nearly every back-of-house position. That hands-on journey instilled a strong work ethic, sharpened his leadership skills, and deepened his understanding of the details that create exceptional dining experiences.
Today, Josh focuses on developing menus with balance, creativity, and intention. Whether reimagining a classic dish, drawing inspiration from global cuisines, or building a new concept from the ground up, he approaches each plate with purpose.
When he is not in the kitchen, Josh can be found hanging out with family, fishing, or cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
